- On or about 24-Mar-96 04:07:49 Blitter typed the following words about "AmiTCP
- No modem". My reply is thus...
-
- Hi Blitter,
-
-
- B> I need ti run some local TCP programs, but I dont want to tie up my
- B> modem. Right now when I type startnet, it of course ties up the modem.
-
- Then don't do that. :<) :<)
-
- B> What line in startnet or elswhere do I need to remove or change to leave
- B> AmiTCP running but not using the modem. Is there a fake-serial.device I
- B> could use or something?
-
- Seriously, dont run startnet just run AmiTCP by itself. Works like a charm!
